Julie and David had been doing graphic design for more than 15 years, working for various companies and clients. But they always had a dream of starting their own business, where they could use their creativity and skills to create unique designs and products that people would love.
After much planning and hard work, they finally launched their Etsy shop, which specializes in personalized gifts and home decor items. The shop quickly gained popularity, with customers raving about the high-quality and creative designs that Julie and David produced.
Running the shop was not easy, especially since they had seven children to take care of. But Julie and David were determined to make it work. They spent countless hours designing and creating new products, responding to customer inquiries, and fulfilling orders. And whenever they needed extra help, their children were always there to lend a hand.
Despite the challenges, the family-owned Etsy shop became a huge success. Customers loved the personal touch that Julie and David added to each product and the fact that they were supporting a small family business. The shop became a source of pride and joy for the entire family, and they were grateful for the opportunity to work together and create something special.
As the years passed, the business continued to grow, and Julie and David celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary. They reflected on all that they had accomplished together, from raising their children to building a successful business. They knew that there were many more challenges and opportunities ahead, but they were excited to face them together as a family.
Looking back, they realized that their family-owned Etsy shop was more than just a business. It was a symbol of their love, dedication, and hard work. And they were proud to have created something that brought joy and happiness to so many people.
In October of 2023 we tragically lost our 21-year-old son, Garrett (our 5th child). We closed the shop to have time to heal and grieve as a family. We are now back open with a whole new shop and the memory of our son driving us to make our store the best it can be.
